A Red Heart for Love

When my friends Ben and Gabriella got married in New Orleans, we were unfortunately not able to go. But next time they came to visit I gave them this quilt I had made for their wedding. The picture does not completely do it justice because the lighting is so poor, but it is a big heart made up of rail fence blocks in all red fabrics. I bought almost all of the fabrics on a great field trip to Mary Jo's, and having not even tried to figure out how much I needed of each print, I ended up with way too much. So I've had a very well supplied red stash over the years.
